A Love Letter to Chinatown
Messina has partnered with celebrated Singapore artist Tobyato to bring a larger-than-life Gelato Dragon to Club Street. Standing 10 metres tall, the mural is inspired by the dragons of nearby Thian Hock Keng Temple and weaves through some of Chinatown's most recognisable landmarks, from the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple to Ee Hoe Hean Club and the area's historic shophouses. A colourful tribute to the neighbourhood's history, architecture and culture, it celebrates the place Messina now calls home. Whether you're visiting for the first time or walking familiar streets, grab a gelato and discover the mural for yourself.
